The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on various industrial hydraulic systems and components at customer sites UK-wide.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will ideally have a service background in mechanical engineering, hydraulics, valves, pumps, pipework, lubrication, cylinders, hydraulic press, motors, rotating equipment, hydraulic power packs, actuators, accumulators, or similar mechanical-related products.

Service Engineer / Hydraulics Service Engineer / Installation Engineer Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of industrial hydraulic equipment at customer sites.
The Hydraulic Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, and fault finding of hydraulic systems, such as presses, pumps, valves, pipework systems, hydraulic power packs, valves, actuators, lubrication systems, pipework, cylinders, motors, and other mechanical equipment.
- Maintain, repair, and install fluid power equipment at customer sites across the UK.
- Installing hydraulic products into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdowns and repairs on various hydraulic equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Hydraulics Service Engineer / Installation Engineer Requirements
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Pipework Engineer or similar.
- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated mechanical engineering systems. Hydraulics would be a huge advantage.
- Assist inspection, reporting, and re-build of hydraulic repairs in the workshop when required.
- Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- Mechanical engineering, hydraulics, valves, pumps, pipework, lubrication, cylinders, hydraulic press, motors, rotating equipment, hydraulic power packs, actuators, accumulators, or similar mechanical-related products. Full product training provided.
- A mechanical engineering qualification would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel UK-wide and stay away when required.
