We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Personal Assistant to support a semi-retired entrepreneur based in Marylebone. Our client has a rich history of successful ventures and now seeks to focus on personal projects and hobbies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working closely with an experienced professional.


The successful candidate will provide comprehensive personal administrative support, including managing the client's calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating travel arrangements to ensure daily activities run smoothly. The ideal candidate will excel in communication management by effectively handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, prioritising communications, and responding on behalf of the client when necessary. Responsibilities also include assisting with personal errands such as shopping, managing household bills, and organising events or family gatherings.


Financial management skills are important for maintaining personal financial records, tracking expenses, and assisting with budgeting as needed. A commitment to confidentiality is crucial, as the candidate will be expected to always handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.


The principal is based in Marylebone, travels frequently, and has a home and business interests in France. Candidates with intermediate to fluent French-speaking abilities are preferred.


The position is primarily remote, but you will have regular meetings with the principal in central London to discuss and plan itineraries, obtain signatures and exchange documents.


This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The job involves busy periods where there will be frequent communication with the principal, as well as quieter times when he may be traveling and in less frequent contact. Therefore, the ability to work autonomously is essential.


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
  1. At least two years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role
  2. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
  3. Intermediate to fluent French
  4. Strong verbal and written communication abilities with a polite and pleasant demeanor
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general IT skills
  6. Ability to work independently and take initiative
  7. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
  8. A proactive, positive attitude with a high level of professional integrity
  9. The right to work in the UK
