Job Description

Hybrid Payroll Advisor (FTC)

  • Manage payroll operations ensuring accuracy
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure correct employee data
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries
  • Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, etc.
  • Prepare reports for upper management and finance department
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
  • Participate in payroll audits
  • Manage benefits and pension schemes

The Successful Applicant

Hybrid Payroll Advisor (FTC) should have:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Advisor or similar role
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages (Excel)
  • Great attention to detail
  • An analytical mind and good numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Happy to work within a large team
  • Comfortable working in the office (Reading) 2x per week

What's on Offer

  • Salary: c. £33,000 - £35,000 per annum (DoE)
  • 37.5 hours per week, adjustable start and finish time to accommodate for external factors
  • Hybrid working: 2x days in office, 3x days WFH
