Temperature Engineering Corp. is looking for a full-time HVAC Service Manager for the Ann Arbor/Metro Detroit Area. We are a commercial/industrial contractor. The ideal candidate will have both HVAC experience and office experience.

The successful HVAC Service Manager applicant will:

• Be familiar with various types/brands of HVAC equipment to recommend repair and/or replacement.
• Possess communication skills to explain recommendations/services required to customers.
• Have excellent customer service and diagnostic skills to assist technicians in the field.
• Understand electrical wiring and practices related to HVAC.
• Have knowledge of boilers, heat pumps, etc.
• Have knowledge of control systems/control system wiring and basic programming.
• Be able to work with service technicians daily addressing scheduling and/or special-order parts ordering.
• Work with the construction division and coordinate with them as needed.

Qualifications include:

• Previous HVAC service experience is a requirement.
• Must have a professional appearance.
• Ability to provide technical support to the service team.
• Able to work overtime hours if needed.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Good attitude is a must.
• Compensation commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Quote service jobs and service preventative maintenance agreements.
• Respond to customer questions/issues regarding service.
• Perform onsite job walk-throughs when required.
• Be familiar with Word and Excel.
• Be available to meet with local mechanical and electrical inspectors if required.
