Job description

We are currently recruiting for a HVAC Service Engineer working nationwide on a full time and permanent basis.

Training and a face to face interview will be held in Essex.

Responsibilities
  1. Attending customer sites across the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland as required by the business.
  2. Delivering routine preventative maintenance and repair work as scheduled by the service coordinator.
  3. Attending product breakdown calls, providing technical assistance to customers and supporting service refurbishment activities.
  4. Working efficiently and safely, always within the companies Health & Safety guidelines.
  5. Delivering high standards of customer service and maintaining a commercial outlook towards the business.
  6. Occasional visits to our parent company overseas or attending other manufacturing sites for the purpose of training or support.
  7. Active input into the strategic activities of the business when required.
About you:
  1. F-Gas certification for HVAC handling.
  2. City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  3. Health and Safety qualifications (e.g. CSCS card) highly preferred.
  4. Expertise in Air Handling Units, HVAC systems, and ventilation units.
  5. Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting and servicing complex systems.
  6. Confident in controls and a range of controllers.
  7. Specific training on our equipment will be provided.
  8. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and back-office staff.
  9. High level of written communication skills for technical report writing.
  10. Honest, diligent, flexible and supportive.
  11. A team player who can work effectively and safely alone.
