Qualifications

We’re looking for an Experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Technician that will be depot based in our Doncaster site.

What you’ll do:

  1. Servicing and maintenance of equipment (i.e. water & fluid chillers, air handlers, pumps and air conditioning units)
  2. Perform major equipment repairs, carry out troubleshooting and fault diagnostics
  3. Ensuring that equipment is prepared and made ready for hire or transfer on time
  4. Strive to continuously improve service delivery and quality, ensuring equipment allocated meets business contract requirements
  5. Carry out routine servicing of test plant in the depot, liaise with suppliers, internal procurement and Inventory teams to maintain stock levels
  6. Comply with company QHSE procedures, maintaining awareness of all regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  7. Provide technical support to Aggreko staff and when required to customers, supporting apprentice development and sharing expertise with local team
  8. Opportunity to progress into new fields such as OFA compressors, steam generators, diesel IDF heaters and diesel boilers.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  1. Technical capability
  2. A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent
  3. Refrigerant Handling (F Gas) CITB Brazing
  4. Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
  5. Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
  6. Able to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure
