Information on the role

1. Oversee M&E works, ensuring HVAC systems are installed, maintained, and operated safely and efficiently.
2. Manage day-to-day HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs within the facility.
3. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and safety standards for HVAC and other mechanical systems.
4. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
5. Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems.
6. Manage contractors and third-party suppliers during installation, testing, and commissioning.
7. Support energy management and sustainability initiatives related to HVAC operations.

What we’d like from you

1. Fully qualified HVAC engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
2. Proven experience in overseeing M&E projects within commercial, industrial, or residential facilities.
3. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical services, and relevant regulations.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues.
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate across departments and technical teams.
6. Previous experience in facilities management is advantageous.
