Job description

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.


Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a HVAC Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.


We are looking for a HVAC Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.


As the HVAC Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.


Responsibilities:
  1. Delivering to the highest level of service for the client.
  2. Answering queries, overseeing planned PPM/compliance works and keeping the client informed of site activities.
  3. Assisting contractors and sub-contractors and ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations.
  4. Completing all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
  5. Having a flexible approach to work and working hours, with a pro-active and positive approach.
  6. Effectively prioritising your own workload whilst assisting other engineers/staff with their duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. City & Guilds level with experience within a maintenance/facilities management environment.
  2. Commitment to the delivery of excellent customer service.
  3. Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and building Statutory Compliance, with the ability to apply this to the role.
  4. Ability to carry tools and equipment by hand of up to 20kg.
  5. Capability to ascend/descend vertical access equipment, work at heights, and be available to join a call out rota.
  6. Hold a full UK driving license.
