Job Description

  1. Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  2. Coordinating recruitment processes and onboarding new employees.
  3. Managing employee records in line with privacy requirements.
  4. Addressing HR-related inquiries and providing assistance to employees.
  5. Facilitating employee development initiatives, including training and workshops.
  6. Supporting the administration of the company's compensation and benefits programmes.
  7. Contributing to the improvement of HR procedures and systems.
  8. Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  9. Managing non-academic recruitment, including advertisements, interviews, and offers.
  10. Conducting Right to Work checks and handling visa applications.
  11. Maintaining employee absence records and producing health and safety reports.
  12. Leading annual reviews, probation, and induction processes.
  13. Supporting training and development activities.
  14. Maintaining EDI records and supporting equality objectives.
  15. Advising on employee relations matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Human Resources Officer should have:

  1. A good understanding of HR practices and employment legislation.
  2. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Proficiency in using HR software and databases.
  5. A keen attention to detail.
  6. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
