Job description

One of my local government clients is currently recruiting an experienced Human Resources Officer on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

This is a hybrid working role; however, you will be required to attend the office 2-3 times a week.

Overview:
  • Able to operate and quickly gain familiarity with computer packages, particularly the Microsoft Office suite, reporting systems, and our learning management system with a view to supporting other employees in their use.
  • Ability to generate and interpret reports.
  • Ideally has work experience in an HR and/or learning and development environment.
Responsibilities/Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of equality and diversity considerations and HR employment considerations.
  • Discretion and confidentiality at all times.
