Job description

Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Area: Human Resources

Salary: £29,300.00 (inc OLW)

FTE: Full-time

Employment Status: Permanent

An opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Officer to join the current HR team to provide a professional, high-quality, and customer-focused HR service to allocated business areas. Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting HR requirements including recruitment, selection, and onboarding administration.
  2. Conducting safeguarding checks.
  3. Inputting data for payroll.
  4. Preparing and issuing contractual documentation in line with legislation.
  5. Drafting letters for employee contract addendums.
  6. Maintaining electronically stored HR files.
  7. General HR administration.
  8. Supporting early-stage HR processes relating to absence management, probation, performance improvement, and disciplinary actions.

The ideal candidate will be invested in the HR field, with experience in HR Administration, and have gained or be working towards a CIPD Level 3 Qualification. A working knowledge of the HR generalist field is also required. Excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail to ensure accuracy are essential.
