Job Title: Human Resources - HR Business Partner - Investments, AVP

This role will partner closely with the Global HRBPs, Global ER Advisors, and the Europe Head of HR to provide human resources support for the European teams. The role will provide a proactive and forward-thinking approach that is viewed by clients, at all levels, to be confident, thoughtful, strategic, consultative and valuable to the organisation's success.


Responsibilities include:

  • As a trusted advisor, prioritise focus on Human Resources strategic levers that align to business results; this includes developing and interpreting key Human Resources metrics for the client group and supporting core people and talent processes (e.g., annual promotions and compensation planning, etc.).
  • Partner with Employee Relations team and coordinate with managers to develop performance improvement plans, and work closely with manager and employee to provide support, direction, and clear communication throughout the process.
  • Continued development of results-oriented, strategic Human Resources capability to work in close partnership with business groups.
  • Ensuring a proactive and forward-thinking approach that is viewed by clients, at all levels, to be confident, competent, strategic, consultative and a valuable contributor to the organisation's success.
  • Partner with Global HRBP and European leadership to lead the planning, development, communication, and implementation of the talent management process.
  • Investigate potential breach of policies and monitor and address employee behaviour throughout the firm; ensure consistent and fair approach firmwide.
  • Communicate and ensure employee understanding of relevant employment laws, regulations, and organisational policies and answer non-standard questions by managers and employees as needed.
  • Act as coach and confidential resource to employees at all levels.
  • Partner with colleagues on the development and implementation of firm-wide HR programmes.
  • Champion the firm's continuing commitment to diversity in its broadest sense and support plans and programmes to ensure the company's workforce at all levels reflects this commitment.

Qualifications

The individual we seek is an experienced Human Resources professional with excellent strategic insights, broad HR experience and a strong generalist skill set.

  • Minimum of 5 years human resources experience gained, at least in part, at a well-respected professional services, financial services, or technology organisations known for disciplined business performance and engaged, consultative human resources.
  • Collaboration and interpersonal skills to partner across multiple stakeholders including Global HRBPs, Global ER Advisors, Europe Head of HR, HR COEs and European leadership.
  • Strong business skills, ability to effectively and persuasively communicate inside and outside of HR.
  • Ability to conceptualise, advise on, and lead strategic talent management as well as demonstrated organisational effectiveness/development is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge of local employment laws.
  • Solid collaboration and interpersonal skills essential to leverage the broad capabilities of peers, business partners and associates.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and diffuse employee related issues, concerns, situations.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate options and alternatives to decide on a plan of action.
  • Significant expertise establishing and maintaining strong working relationships across all levels while maintaining appropriate levels of objectivity.
  • Global mindset, international exposure a plus.
  • Ability to create and reinforce the organisation's desired culture.
  • Experience effectively communicating Human Resources strategy and rationale.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
