Job description

Location: Flexible between home and our Corby office
Reports to: HR Manager
Salary: £30,060 plus excellent benefits
Closing Date: 16th August 2024

About the role:

The role of a HR Executive is instrumental and key to ensuring the smooth running of the HR Department engaging with internal colleagues and external suppliers. This role is fast paced, varied and the successful candidate will be involved in all parts of the end-to-end colleague cycle. As a team, we work from our Corby office every Wednesday and do have other organisational events and meetings which may require travel to our London or Corby offices occasionally.

Responsibilities:

  1. To provide a proactive, efficient, effective and comprehensive support to colleagues and external customers.
  2. To deal with HR related issues and provide administrative/secretarial support as requested, filing key records related to colleague matters as required.
  3. Maximise best use of people system (Appogee), ensure accurate data is maintained, housekeeping completed, getting the best out of the system.
  4. Set up training on IHasco for current colleagues, pull reports as required, follow up with colleagues and ensure completion of courses.
  5. Support meetings, note taking, records, and documentation e.g. flexible working, end of onboarding etc.
  6. Engage and support any colleague initiatives from start to finish.
  7. Active participation with the delivery and feedback of employee surveys, well-being initiatives etc.
  8. Draft and create letters, emails, templates or communication to colleagues.
  9. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

  1. Familiar with HR administration and worked in a HR environment previously.

  3. Must have attention to detail, accuracy and be a methodical thinker.
  4. Happy to be adaptable and juggling several priorities at the same time.
  5. Ability to work to deadlines.
  6. High level of confidentiality whilst dealing with sensitive issues.
  7. High standard of proven administrative skills and ability to develop new processes.
