Mooseheart Child City & School, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Coordinator of Human Resources to support our growing team. In this role, you'll manage the daily operations of HR, ensure compliance with DCFS licensing standards, and help build a positive, mission-driven workplace culture.
Partner with leadership to implement strategic HR initiatives
Oversee HR operations including benefits, compliance, and employee relations
Serve as a key advisor for employee relations and conflict resolution
Administer compensation and benefits programs
Supervise the Human Resources Assistant and contribute to departmental goals
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Proven experience across multiple HR functions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance standards
Prior supervisory experience and a collaborative leadership style
High integrity and professionalism in handling confidential matters
Daily collaboration with department leaders and employees
Regular contact with DCFS representatives and job applicants
Close partnership with the Executive Director and Chief Human Resources Officer
