Human Resources Change Partner
London/Leeds/Bristol/Glasgow – Hybrid

We are looking for two HR Change Partners; one is permanent, and the other is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extending to 18 months. These roles will form part of a dedicated, empowered, and flexible pool of HR professionals, providing guidance and expertise to deliver prioritised business and HR strategic change activity.
You will work, where appropriate, in multidisciplinary teams/squads, utilising agile methodology where appropriate, you’ll collaborate directly with the business and/or HR sponsors, serving as the HR expert, utilising the expertise available to prioritise, scope, design and deliver innovative solutions/change that add business value, are in line with our people strategy and have colleague experience at the heart.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver prioritised short term and/or long-term change effectively by utilising broad and specialist HR knowledge and, where appropriate, drawing in COE and wider functional expertise.
- Engage and collaborate with sponsors to define outcomes and OKRs (if appropriate), explaining how the Change Hub will be working to shape, test, learn and implement designed solutions, with continued engagement and evaluation.
- Develop deep understanding of business area roadmaps and strategy to ensure the squad deliver the outcomes in a timely manner, with awareness of the wider change agenda through business engagement and lead syncs, foreseeing interdependencies, resource needs and necessary adaptation.
- Carry out research, stakeholder engagement activity, develop user stories and collation/analysis of data to understand change requirements from both the commercial and people perspective.
- Identify issues and form hypotheses aligned to the overarching people strategy, challenging, coaching, advising and proposing alternatives to deliver at pace.
- Facilitate workshops/discussions/deep dives to understand continuous improvement opportunities, adapting and improving our ways of working.
- Showcase work through appropriate deep dives for stakeholder engagement. Sharing findings, current work, risks and recommendations to facilitate and deliver change, adapting where necessary and beneficial to optimise outcomes.
- Formulate implementation plans for viable solutions, ensuring necessary upskilling, planning and evaluation before hand over to business/BAU.
- Establish and nurture successful relationships across HR utilising and engaging the relevant expertise where required and ensure any insights gathered through activity are shared and leveraged as appropriate.
- Identify, own and manage the risks involved in the various programmes and initiatives to ensure we deliver as promised.
- Utilise both internal and external communities of practice and matrix reporting lines to maintain/replenish knowledge of HR industry, products and field.
What you'll need
- Experience in HR business partnering and advising multiple Senior Leaders on strategic change activity, including employment legislation.
- Strong stakeholder management, ability to lead on engagement with the business, creating strong relationships and effective dialogue to drive agreed outcomes.
- Ability to gather information, analyse and problem solve taking business needs, policy, legislation and best practice into account.
- Data fluent, able to translate data into a narrative and provide insight by using and leveraging data and reporting.
- Able to communicate effectively to deliver advice, facilitation and challenging messages.
- An understanding of (or willingness to learn) agile methodologies and their benefits.
- Consultative, problem solving & advisory skills ideally gained in a fast-paced, focused environment.
