MacGregor Black are partnering with an FMCG business, on the search for a HR Business Partner. This is a permanent role based in Craigavon.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to support the business on-site for 5 days a week. In this role, you will be an essential link between HR and the business, helping to drive performance and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide both strategic and operational HR support, leading process improvement projects to enhance overall HR effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Partner with business leaders to ensure the HR strategy aligns with and supports the achievement of business goals. Provide strategic advice on people management and workforce planning.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify, lead, and participate in HR process improvement projects, focusing on optimising HR systems, processes, and workflows for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a key advisor on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolutions in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Talent Management: Lead talent management initiatives including succession planning, performance management, and employee development programs to support a high-performance culture and retain key talent.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure the business attracts and integrates the best talent. Collaborate with hiring managers to improve recruitment strategies and onboarding experiences.
  • Learning & Development: Partner with the Learning & Development team to assess training needs, deliver development programs, and ensure continuous professional growth across the workforce.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Provide support and advice on compensation strategies, salary benchmarking, and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
  • HR Data & Analytics: Leverage HR analytics to support data-driven decision-making, providing insights on trends such as turnover, absenteeism, employee engagement, and other key metrics.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Lead process improvement projects in HR operations, leveraging technology and tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve service delivery.
  • Change Management: Support and lead organisational change initiatives, including restructures, cultural shifts, and process changes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication with employees.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and have equal opportunities for development and progression.
  • Compliance & Best Practice: Ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal policies, continuously updating HR practices to align with legal requirements and industry best practices.

What We’re Looking For?

  • Education: Degree in HR Management, or a related field. CIPD Level 5 or higher is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor, ideally in the manufacturing, FMCG, or a fast-paced environment. Experience with continuous improvement and process optimisation is highly desirable.
  • HR Process Improvement: Proven experience in leading or participating in HR process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices, with a proven ability to manage complex issues.
  • Leadership & Influence: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Data & Analytics: Ability to interpret and use HR analytics to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Change Management: Experience in supporting or leading change management initiatives and driving cultural transformation within a business.
