Job description

We are currently working in partnership with one of the oldest law firms in the world, based in Kent, who are recruiting for a HR Advisor on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately, on a full-time basis. The salary rate is negotiable depending upon experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in HR in the professional services industry. They also must have experience of Employee Relations, Recruitment, and Change Management.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  1. Providing efficient, effective, and customer-focused HR services to support Apprenticeships, Trainees, Paralegals, Legal Support, and Business Services staff.
  2. Covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the firm’s People Strategy and Business Plans.
  3. Collaborating with the HR team to deliver pragmatic, bespoke, and business-focused HR solutions, while building strong relationships with managers and employees across all levels and departments.
  4. Contributing to maintaining a professional, engaging, and compliant HR function, ensuring high-quality support and guidance on a range of HR matters and promoting best practices.
  5. Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and employment terms for various staff categories, including Apprenticeships, Trainees, Paralegals, and Business Services employees.
