Brook Street has an exciting opportunity to join the Public Sector in an entry-level HR Assistant role. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates, individuals with recruitment experience, or candidates with transferable administrative skills looking to kickstart a career in HR.
Main Day-to-Day Duties:

Location: MCA, Spring Place, SO15 1EG, Southampton. The role is fully on-site to begin with, transitioning to hybrid (60% on-site, 40% from home) after training.
Work schedule: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00).
Hourly rate: £12.36 p/h.
Contract length: 6-month temporary contract with potential for internal opportunities at MCA.
The successful candidate will be subject to a 3-year activity check and a basic DBS.
