HTML Email Developer

We have a great opportunity to join our Digital Content team as an Email Developer, delivering email builds for our varied range of clients, working across multiple projects to meet varying client needs and deadlines.

You will be responsible for HTML build, graphic editing, campaign set-up, quality assurance (QA) and testing, and play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' email marketing efforts by ensuring the communications are visually appealing and technically sound.

You will have a strong background in core web technologies, email development techniques, a keen eye for design, and the ability to troubleshoot issues across various email clients.

Ideally you will have proven, hands-on experience specifically in developing fully responsive interactive emails, particularly with HTML and CSS preferably in a marketing agency or fast-paced client-side environment.

Experience with Braze canvases would be an advantage, as is using online email builders and templating systems such as Taxi for Email, Stripo or Bee for email production.

At TMW Unlimited we offer Hybrid working, which for us is a blend of working remotely and in the London office.

This role is based from our London Office with a requirement to work in the office 2 days per week.

The Day to Day...

• Work with design and creative teams to create visually appealing HTML email templates and content that align with client brand guidelines and marketing objectives
• HTML Email development and coding, creating Email creative assets
• Create components that can be implemented in Braze canvases and embedded in digital channels
• Conduct rigorous testing across agreed email clients and devices to ensure compatibility and optimal performance
• Campaign set-up using a wide range of ESPs and MAPs
• Advise internal departments on email best practices and be looked to as a subject matter expert for email development
• Display a meticulous aptitude for detail

Requirements

Who will you be?

• You'll be an HTML/CSS expert, specifically in developing fully responsive interactive emails
• High level of proficiency in creating responsive email designs and familiarity with Braze canvases
• Experience using online email builders and templating systems such as Taxi for Email, Stripo or Bee for email production
• Experience using JS based task runners and code generation such as Hugo, GULP for email production
• Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite of applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator for email asset output and editing when needed.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of ESPs and MAPs such as Oracle Eloqua, Oracle Responsys, Adobe Campaign, Cheetah Digital, Mailchimp, or similar
• Knowledge of email marketing best practices and compliance standards
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, within business constraints and across multiple projects concurrently
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality assurance, ensuring all emails are free from errors and adhere to best practices
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email rendering and deliverability
• Communication: Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
