Job description

HSEQ Advisor - Civils & Water

SSA are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who are looking to add an experienced HSEQ Advisor to their team working on long-term Yorkshire Water projects including pipelines, tunnelling, shafts, pumping stations, & deep drainage schemes across the region.

These projects are valued between £1m-£10m, and will see the successful HSEQ Advisor responsible for health & safety strategy & performance, near misses/accident investigations, site inspections & audits, providing environmental advice, and keeping on top of quality control & assurance amongst other duties, whilst working closely with the project delivery teams and client representatives.

They are able to offer a salary of up to £55k + package (company car/car allowance, healthcare, pension etc), and opportunities for further progression & development within the business.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience within civil engineering / utilities
  • NEBOSH qualification
