Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE) + Bonus
Location: Crewe, with occasional travel to the North East

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join a leading food manufacturing company based in Crewe. This is an excellent role for a proactive and experienced HSE professional looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with company and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Lead and coordinate HSE training and awareness initiatives for all staff.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Work closely with management and teams to promote a strong HSE culture across all departments.
• Ensure that all records and reports related to health, safety, and environmental matters are kept up-to-date and comply with regulations.
• Travel occasionally to another site in the North East for audits and support as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a similar HSE management role within the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach to HSE management.
• Full UK driving licence, as occasional travel is required.
