Main purpose of the position:
As the Group HSE Manager - Commercial, the key purpose is to act as the Group point of contact for countries in relation to contract review, new business bids, resourcing requirements, mobilization and transition. They will provide clear simple procedures that are scalable and can be applied regardless of location, infrastructure and tools to support the business in achieving a sustained reduction in the rates of incidents and injury. They will ensure country teams have the tools and processes to ensure accounts are structured to achieve individual and collective safety and wellness. The role reports directly to the Group HSE Support Team Lead and will have accountability for the management of Group HSE Management system.
What you'll do:
New Business
- Support business growth by providing a global approach for new business pursuits.
- Develop tools and templates to ensure a consistent HSE response for Client RFI/RFP.
- Build a library of example good practice and case studies.
- Support bid teams in preparing RFI and RFP responses.
- Develop HSE solutions for Global & Regional Key accounts.
Mobilisation and Transition
- Development of globally consistent procedures and 'playbook' for mobilisation and transition of new accounts.
- Track and monitor completion of HSE mobilisation activities.
- Review of scopes of work in new bids to identify risks associated with new contracts.
- Develop and maintain a resourcing model to define the minimum resource requirements to support accounts.
- Development of ISS global operating protocols for contractors and supply chain vendors.
Other
- Identify specialists and develop relationships with 3rd Party HSE partners who can support delivery of HSE services to clients.
- Provision of regular monthly status updates.
- Development of communications to ensure that changes and improvements are shared.
- Support other specific HSE projects as agreed with the HSE Support Team Lead.

Key qualifications:
Qualifications and Practical Knowledge:
- Qualified HSE professional (minimum BSC. or Post-grad diploma) accredited by a recognised professional body (e.g. CMIOSH, CSP).
- Minimum 10 years HSE experience, with experience of participating in commercial bids and mobilising new contracts.
- A solid understanding of supporting accounts to deliver services safely.
