Are you passionate about the wellbeing of employees and the environment? We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our team and drive cultural change at the site level through positive engagement and awareness. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of translating group strategic direction into practical and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement the 12 Global Standards based on the business risk profile.
2. Conduct HSE-related training and competency programs for our Leeds facility.
3. Lead the site's preparation for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
4. Serve as the Site Energy Representative and maintain ISO 50001.
5. Ensure the legal compliance register is updated and relevant actions are communicated and closed out promptly.
6. Manage the implementation of behavioural and cultural safety programs, including coaching discussions, Gemba walks, and safety kaizen events.
7. Support the site's Risk Assessment and SOP programs.
8. Develop an energy reduction program in line with group strategy.
9. Oversee the HSE internal audit program for the facility and participate in audits at other Rotork locations.
10. Manage the daily input of lagging and leading data into the HSE CE incident database.
11. Oversee the "safety spot" process and drive improvements through corrective actions.

Qualifications

Essential

1. NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent (or working towards)
2. IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management
3. ISO Lead auditor

Desirable

1. Membership of IOSH
2. Membership of IEMA
