Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a specialist manufacturing business who are looking for an experienced and driven HSE Manager to join their team and make a real impact.

Reporting to the Group Safety & Environment Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting the Operations Team across multiple sites (Howden, Thorne and Liverpool). You’ll lead initiatives that ensure compliance, drive behavioural safety, and champion continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environmental performance.

This is more than a compliance role – it’s about leadership, engagement, and creating a culture where safety is second nature.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Leading day-to-day HSE processes with a strong focus on culture and accountability
  • Driving behavioural safety through audits, coaching, and employee engagement
  • Delivering monthly Safety Stops and toolbox talks, using real-world insights to drive action
  • Supporting ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards, including internal audits, objectives and targets
  • Managing risk assessments, workplace inspections, and operational controls
  • Leading incident investigations, identifying root causes, and ensuring corrective actions
  • Tracking key performance indicators and providing regular updates to site leadership
  • Delivering essential HSE training internally and coordinating external support where needed
