HSE Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health, Environment and Safety Coordinator / HSE Coordinator to join a well-established waste management and energy production company.

This is a home-based role offering excellent benefits and a salary range of £30,000 - £32,000 plus £3,000 car allowance. You will be required to travel to Stoke and Wolverhampton sites.

We would consider someone junior or a graduate who wants to get into this type of role (Training will be provided).

As a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisor / HSEQ Advisor, you will be performing routine environmental compliance audits and inspections, ensuring results are accurately recorded.

You will be responsible for:

1. Promptly logging environmental incidents onto designated systems.
2. Compiling and generating monthly environmental performance metrics for both internal and external use.
3. Assisting in the preparation of detailed reports for stakeholders.
4. Maintaining quality and environmental management system documentation to uphold compliance standards.
5. Conducting checks on suppliers to ensure quality and environmental standards are met, including duty of care assessments for waste management partners.
6. Monitoring the progress of quality and environmental objectives effectively.
7. Ensuring residue samples are collected and dispatched correctly from various sites.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as an Environmental Compliance Specialist, Environmental Advisor, QHSE Coordinator, Health and Safety Officer, Environmental Coordinator, Quality & Environmental Compliance Officer, Health & Safety Coordinator, Health & Safety Advisor, HSE Specialist, or in a similar role.
2. Interest or experience in environmental management.
3. IT literate with skills in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
4. Strong organisational and time management skills.
