We are looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support our operational teams on various sites located across the Northwest, predominantly Ellesmere Port, Runcorn, Widnes & Carrington.
Reporting to the Regional HSEQ Manager, you will be a key point of contact for operational advice, onsite performance, compliance with Altrad's integrated management system, and legal requirements.
Key Objectives:
- Ensure daily operations are compliant with Altrad's integrated management system, policies, and legal requirements.
- Support, advise & monitor site working practices and activities.
- Support the development of RAMS in the planning stages of the scope through to execution.
- Provide functional support to the Site Management and Operational Team, advising on HSEQ standards on sites.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the regional HSEQ manager in the delivery of Altrad's & regional HSEQ objectives.
- Work closely with onsite HSEQ & Operations Teams, assessing and responding to site requirements.
- Be visible onsite and engage with Altrad employees; promoting and developing a sound safety culture.
- Support in the development & reviewing of risk assessments and method statements ensuring they form a robust Safe System of Work & are effective.
- Identify training needs and deliver internal Altrad packages.
- Record actions from HSE management system audits, inspections, and safety tours and monitor progress of NC's, OFI's & actions raised.
- Advise and assist in Safety related investigations alongside the operational team as required.
- Be instrumental in continuous HSEQ improvement supporting our customer(s) and associated contracting teams onsite.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience of delivering HSEQ support, advice, and guidance to site-based teams.
- Minimum NEBOSH certificate but working towards Diploma or higher education.
- Member of IOSH or similar OHS certified body.
- Ideally a background of an industrial multi-service provider in the Petrochemical industry or similar sector. A strong understanding of scaffold or mechanical background would be advantageous.
- Confident in presenting to the workforce, management teams & customers.
- Valid driving license.
The role requires you to work a standard 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunity during busy periods available.
