Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Wellbeing Assistant to join our clients Admin and Staff Development Team providing HR administration support to a busy, friendly team based in Bangor, Gwynedd.

If you are fluent in Welsh, passionate about HR, recruitment, and staff wellbeing then this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the recruitment website and ensuring accuracy in job adverts
  • Representing the company at recruitment events and helping to organise recruitment events
  • Promoting apprenticeships and trainee roles in schools and colleges, and overseeing the Apprentices programme
  • Maintaining job descriptions and person specifications
  • Collaborating with corporate HR on all HR matters
  • Supporting line managers in shortlisting candidates, and co-ordinating interviews and preparing interview packages
  • Assisting with onboarding, including offer letters and contracts
  • Conducting exit interviews and reports on staff retention
  • Promoting workplace wellbeing initiatives

We would love to see your CV if you have the following:

  • Prior experience in a similar HR, recruitment, or staff development-based role
  • Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written)
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and line managers
  • Passion for staff wellbeing and development.

This is a full-time temporary role for 6 months covering a period of sickness, based in modern offices near the historic university city of Bangor Gwynedd easily accessible from the A55.

In exchange you will receive a competitive annual salary GBP27,711 - GBP32,635 per annum pro rata depending on skills and experience.
