HR & Talent Manager (VR Excusive)

VANRATH is exclusively partnering with a leading service provider with the appointment of a newly created HR & Talent Manager role, based in South Belfast.

Job Purpose

As the HR & Talent Manager, you'll deliver a comprehensive HR service tailored to the needs of the business supporting recruitment to employee engagement, policy development, and performance management. You'll play a vital role in shaping the culture and supporting our people.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and lead a HR function, tailored to the business needs.
2. Provide advice to management and employees on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment legislation.
3. Develop and implement HR policies that reflect values and legal obligations.
4. Foster engagement by listening to employee feedback and championing initiatives that improve workplace culture.
5. Identify and deliver learning and development opportunities to help people thrive.

We're looking for someone who:

1. 3+ years' experience in HR, ideally in a SME or scaling business.
2. Has a degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline.
3. Thrives on autonomy and can confidently set up processes from scratch.
4. Is highly organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
5. Balances empathy and professionalism, building trust with staff at all levels.
6. Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
