HR & Site Administrator

As a HR and Site Administrator at our Wrexham plant, you'll ensure accurate payroll and time & attendance administration, acting as the key contact for related queries. You'll manage relationships with payroll providers, support HR projects, and contribute to employee engagement activities. Your role will report to our Senior HR Manager and work very closely with our Plant Director.

Your role will be pivotal in maintaining smooth HR operations and fostering a positive workplace environment.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

• Payroll Accuracy: Ensure precise time & attendance administration and payroll processing, eliminating the need for payroll recalculations for hourly employees.
• Primary Contact: Serve as the single point of contact for all payroll-related questions, SAP, time & attendance, and absence management system inquiries, including communicating status and resolutions to key stakeholders.
• Provider Management: Manage day-to-day relationships with payroll providers and escalate issues to plant HR leadership.
• Schedule Updates: Update workforce schedules and action contracts of employment as required.
• System Oversight: Oversee the site time and attendance system (Kronos), including training People Managers on its usage.
• Absence Management: Process absence management paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Project Support: Support HR-related projects at the plant and develop wellness programs in collaboration with Occupational Health.
• Stakeholder Assistance: Assist all stakeholders (employees and management) with the use of the SFs system, including updating details and managing the recruitment process.
• Engagement Activities: Contribute to and execute engagement activities, including annual Reward and Recognition events at the plant.
• Recruitment Support: Provide support for recruitment processes as needed.

We're Looking for Someone With

• Experience in an administrative role within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
