HR Assistant – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: The role is based as working from home with travel to any of four sites for meetings being required when necessary. Ideally, the furthest site from your home address should be no further than 1 hour away.
Salary: 13.00 per hour

We have an exciting new opportunity for a HR Assistant to join a busy HR team on a fixed term contract. You will play a key role in providing an efficient and responsive HR service to the organisation, covering all areas of recruitment and general HR administrative duties.

You will be highly organised, experienced in handling high volumes of recruitment, and have the ability to work to deadlines whilst handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Please note you must have sufficient broadband speed to be able to work from home.

Part Time Hours: 30 hours per week (working hours 09:00 – 17:00. Scheduled day off will be Thursday)
Interview Date: Week commencing 27th January 2025

Qualifications and Experience

• Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) Grade C or above.
• Proven experience of working in an HR/Recruitment environment.
• Good working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Experience of taking minutes at formal meetings.
• Proven experience of assisting with recruitment.
• Proven strong administration skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Awareness and understanding of the importance of confidentiality within the HR department, demonstrating discretion at all times.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
• Team player.
• Travel to any of four sites for meetings will be required when necessary.
