My client, a multi billion dollar AUM industry leading hedge fund, is looking to hire their first HR Operations Specialist based in their expanding London office.
This is a newly created hire, and the individual coming into this role will take the lead on HR operations and transformation strategy on a firmwide level, starting with the implementation of a new HRIS.
Reporting to the Global Head of HR and working closely with the ‘C-suite’, the hire will take ownership to improve the firm's HR operations framework, making changes to procedures and operational efficiency. With the support of Technology teams (as well as relevant third parties), the hire will lead a major project to implement and roll out a new HRIS system, which will be used by all functions across the firm. This includes end-to-end management of the implementation from initial conversations with external consultants to the implementation of core HRIS tools, UAT testing, and any add-ons that the hire feels are needed.
The hire will also take on a strategic role working with the wider global HR team to identify gaps and bottlenecks within the firm's operational infrastructure and run point on making relevant improvements – this would include a focus on areas such as performance management, talent development, and HR reporting. The hire will also collaborate with the technology team to make HR reporting and analytics more data-driven and automated, hence ensuring continuous improvements to HR architecture.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience as an HR transformation/HR operations/HR technology specialist with strong hands-on experience with Workday HRIS and experience delivering on HR operational improvement initiatives at an investment manager, a bank, or hedge fund. Candidates must have an excellent academic profile.
The role can pay up to a £150k base salary, and a strong performer can earn a 50% year one bonus.
