Description

Aircraft Engineering Services are looking for a HR Officer to support the HR function across the UK & Poland at our offices at Hangar 10, Stansted Airport.

The successful candidate will be dealing with a broad range of HR issues and will help support the full HR function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to advance their career within a dynamic and fast-paced airline environment. You will gain valuable experience in a range of HR topics including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supporting the recruitment and selection process for the UK & Poland
  2. Onboarding including issuing contracts & 5 year background checks
  3. Provide HR support for the employee review process
  4. Taking notes and representing HR at meetings, including Annual Appraisals, Review Meetings and Disciplinary procedures.
  5. Collating payroll data in terms of salary changes, adjustments & expenses
  6. Monitor employee absence to identify trends & complete return to works
  7. Ensure recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements
  8. Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures
  9. Supporting staff with any HR queries as and when they arise
  10. Producing weekly reports for the HR Manager & Company Directors
  11. Ensure compliance with Employment laws and the update of policies & procedures
  12. Any additional duties as required from the HR Manager

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as an HR Officer
  2. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  5. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
