HR Officer – 12 Month FTC

We are currently recruiting for a HR officer for a 12 month maternity cover period for a global leader in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will join the HR team, reporting to the HR Manager to operate and maintain efficient transactional HR activities to help the organisation successfully achieve business targets. This role requires a start in June and is based in Dungannon.

The Role:

  • Resolve day-to-day employee queries and provide appropriate information
  • Be actively involved in recruitment process by preparing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing advertisements, posting ads etc. to achieve appointment of the right person for the job.
  • Support the management of grievance and disciplinary issues according to company policy.
  • Keep HR Manager informed of ongoing matters, provide updates and reports for Senior Management and advise on how employment law can be met to ensure company compliance

The Person:

  • CIPD Level 5 (essential)
  • Strong working knowledge of HR Legislation
  • 2+ Years experience in a HR role
  • Self-driven and solution-based approach
