Job description

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a talented, friendly and enthusiastic People Officer to join their professional services organisation. If you are a competent People Officer or Advisor and are looking to strengthen your knowledge and experience further, this role could be exactly what you're looking for!

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing the end-to-end recruitment process
  2. Onboarding and inducting new starters
  3. Enhancing employee engagement through People events and surveys
  4. Providing support and guidance for stakeholders across the firm regarding all People matters
  5. Being the first point of contact for ER cases
  6. Coaching and upskilling line managers
  7. Supporting all areas of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, career development and offboarding
  8. Managing payroll changes including new joiners, leavers and salary changes
  9. Reviewing and updating policies to ensure compliance with Employment Law and legislation changes
  10. Benchmarking and reviewing salaries and benefits
  11. Supporting and driving wellbeing throughout the firm
Requirements:
  1. Experience working as a People Officer or Advisor
  2. CIPD Level 5 Qualified
  3. Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office
  4. Excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills
  5. Great time management skills
  6. Self-motivated, confident and proactive
  7. Calm under pressure
