Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £30K - £34K
Location: Near Manchester City Centre (4 days on-site, 1 day work from home)
Hours: Mon-Fri, 9-5
Interview: 2 stages, both virtually and in-person

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing expert knowledge of HR processes, advising colleagues, managing recruitment and induction processes, conducting employee satisfaction surveys, and ensuring compliance with current legislation.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce. You will be responsible for understanding our business needs, developing HR strategies that align with these needs, and ensuring that we attract and retain diverse talent. Your role will involve managing recruitment processes, conducting employee satisfaction surveys, overseeing payroll operations, and providing guidance on development to managers and their teams. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our policies comply with current legislation and best practice. Your expertise will be crucial in providing counsel on employee relation issues, leading relationships with account teams, suppliers and recruiters, and maintaining high standards of quality within your team.

  • Develop expert knowledge of HR processes and apply this knowledge to confidently advise colleagues.
  • Responsible for conducting an annual employee satisfaction survey and interpreting the results.
  • Responsible for reviewing agency policies and procedures to ensure they comply with current legislation and HR best practice.
  • Provide expert counsel on all employee relation issues.
  • Lead relationships with teams, suppliers and recruiters.
  • Review all work prepared by the team to ensure standards of quality, accuracy and output are maintained.
What you bring:

The ideal Human Resources Officer will bring a wealth of experience in Human Resources. You will have a strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, and be able to apply this knowledge to advise colleagues and develop new strategies.
