Morgan Philips is delighted to be exclusively representing our Manufacturing client to hire an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join their team in Southall. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing employee engagement and driving equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives, as well as managing all day-to-day HR activities and employee relations. This position is a full-time, on-site role, requiring a commitment of 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Employee Engagement & EDI: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement across the organization, focusing on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
2. Management Development: Design and deliver programs aimed at upskilling the management population, ensuring leaders are equipped with the necessary tools to manage teams effectively.
3. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process for both blue and white-collar roles, creating efficient talent acquisition strategies that align with organizational goals.
4. Change Management: Support the organization through transitions, ensuring effective change management practices are in place to facilitate smooth processes and minimal disruption.
5. Policy Development: Review and enhance HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices within the manufacturing sector.
6. Employee Relations: Manage employee relations matters and conduct investigations when necessary, supporting an open and transparent environment.
7. Performance Management: Oversee the performance management system, ensuring consistent application and alignment with business objectives.
8. Reporting & Analytics: Utilize HR metrics to analyze trends and drive improvements in workforce management.

We are looking for:

1. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is essential.
2. Proven experience in HR management within the manufacturing industry.
3. Demonstrated expertise in employee engagement, EDI initiatives, management upskilling, recruitment, and change management.
4. Experience working with both blue and white-collar employees. Union exposure would also be an advantage but isn't essential.
5. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach. Familiarity with HR software and tools. Language: French language skills are a bonus but not essential.
