We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our national HR team, ideally based within the Midlands. Your base location could be Tarmac Swains Park site in Swadlincote, Derbyshire or alternatively you could be based out of our Tunstead Concrete Plant in Buxton. This key role will have responsibility for delivering a comprehensive, commercially focused HR service to our Packed and Powders Business across the UK and you are likely to be working on one of our sites at least 3 days per week. National travel is a key element of this role.
This broad HR Manager role is an opportunity for you to partner with some key business stakeholders and work on a wide range of activities such as change initiatives, talent attraction and development, inclusion and diversity, employee engagement and business improvement initiatives.
Reporting into the Head of HR (Cement and Packed), the role of HR Manager for our Packed and Powder Business will represent the HR function within management teams across these businesses to ensure national, Business Unit and local priorities and strategies are achieved.
This role will also be responsible for (not exhaustive):
Suitable candidates for the role of HR Manager will be CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) and possess a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and practices, coupled with relevant business experience and professional development.
