HR Manager - Huddersfield Site Based

As a HR Manager, you will be in a stand-alone role reporting into the Managing Director for a Manufacturing company based in Huddersfield. This role focuses on managing employee relations, HR processes, policies and procedures, compliance with employment laws, recruitment, and day-to-day HR operations including HR admin and onboarding.

Client Details

Our client is a growing Manufacturing company with approximately 100 employees onsite in Huddersfield.

Description

1. Partner with the Directors.
2. Manage employee relations casework including D&G, sickness, and performance management.
3. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources requirements.
4. Support the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews.
5. Manage and process HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment and amendments.
6. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
7. Support and advise managers on HR policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful HR Manager should have:

1. Senior stakeholder management with the ability to challenge.
2. Excellent communication and people skills.
3. Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
4. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
5. Experience in managing and developing HR processes, policies, and procedures.
6. HR administration experience including contracts of employment.
7. Experience in recruitment and training.

Job Offer

Salary: £35-45k per annum.
Site based 5 days per week.
Flexible start and finish times - core hours and early finish on a Friday.
