HR Manager | Addiction and Mental Health

Up to £55,000

Fully remote with travel to 9 services

Requirements

  • An experienced HR professional within health and social care
  • Someone with at least 3 years of experience within HR roles
  • CIPD Qualified (ideally Level 7 or willing to work towards)

Remit

Compass Corporate Services are proud to be partnering with a growing provider across England, providing rehabilitation services to people struggling with addiction. They are now seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of HR throughout the business.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in HR matters within health and social care, employment law, and have TUPE experience. They will ideally have had experience in analyzing and developing new HR procedures and strategies. You will hold a CIPD Level 7 Qualification or equivalent and have good TUPE experience as they are going to be acquiring other businesses. The current headcount is 215. The client is seeking a motivated, self-starter who is able to work autonomously and strategically. This is a standalone role reporting to the COO.

The Role

The role will involve dealing with a wide variety of HR matters across the business, including managing inductions, offers, and onboarding, handling complex issues and investigations including disciplinaries and staff terminations. You will support the business with developing their HR plans and strategies and implementing these. Whilst this role is home-based, you may occasionally be required to attend meetings in services, so will need to be able to travel as required.

Location

This position will be home-based and therefore the successful candidate must have a remote working setup. There is travel to their 9 services as and when required; they are in London, Surrey, Bristol, Kent, Manchester, Sheffield, Gloucestershire, and Essex.

Interview Process

The interview process will be an initial Teams interview with the COO. The final stage will be a panel with the COO and MD and will include a walk around their head office.
