Salary: £48,000 to £53,000 DOE

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Location: Wilmslow - 3 days on-site, 2 days WFH

Hours: Mon-Fri, 9-5

Interview: 2 stages - 1 virtual, 1 F2F

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned HR Manager to join a leading retail/manufacturing business. This role offers a competitive salary range of £48K-£53K and is based in the vibrant town of Wilmslow. The successful candidate will be at the heart of developing and implementing a people strategy that aligns with the business goals, fostering a customer-centric culture. What you'll do:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the HR function, ensuring its operational success and development
• Interpret and advise on employment law, updating and implementing policies and procedures accordingly
• Provide coaching and support to the senior management team in terms of development and performance management
• Lead employee engagement strategy, identifying areas that require improvement and development
• Manage recruitment and selection activity, from job descriptions to on-boarding new starters
• Develop HR planning strategies considering immediate and long-term employee requirements
• Produce and analyse KPI’s and HR metrics, making recommendations as appropriate
• Manage employee relations casework in compliance with UK Employment Law

What you bring:

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR generalist role
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance standards
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• CIPD Level 5 (minimum); Level 7 or Chartered Membership is desirable
• Experience with HR systems and reporting (e.g. HRIS, payroll systems)
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation
