HR & Office Manager Vacancy
4 days per week, 45-50K Full time equivalent

HR Recruit is currently recruiting for an HR & Office Manager vacancy for our SME client based in Salford, Greater Manchester. The role is predominantly 70% HR and 30% office based tasks. This is a brand new role for the company and you will report directly into the CEO. The purpose of the role is to manage comprehensive HR including oversight of an HR system, while implementing strategic HR initiatives under directorial guidance.

Role responsibilities

  • Collate information for staff salary each month and then liaise with payroll company.
  • Ensure all HR requirements are adhered to for example Contracts of Employment.
  • Obtain Insurance for properties and projects and then liaise with Insurance Agent.
  • Deal with accountants and provide all the information they require to do their job.
  • Manage and optimise Bright Safe HR software, ensuring accurate employee data, documentation, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation, working with the organisation's HR guidance and systems.
  • Generate HR analytics and reports for strategic decision-making, working closely with Directors on important matters.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Oversee payroll administration and benefits management.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Handle grievance procedures and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and HR regulations.

Person Specification

  • You must have at least 3 years of HR experience to be considered for the role.
  • Be hands-on with a can-do attitude.
  • Flexible.
  • Efficient with attention to detail.
  • Proven experience with HR management systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Conflict resolution and mediation skills.

The full-time equivalent salary is 45-50K. The pro-rated salary for 4 days is £36,000-£40,000.
