Newly created standalone HR Manager role! Join a dynamic, growing and very exciting boutique finance firm based in beautiful offices in Tower Hill!

This is a newly created, standalone HR Manager role responsible for developing and overseeing all HR functions within the firm. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the HR strategy, managing day-to-day HR operations, and ensuring the firm attracts, retains, and develops top talent to support its business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy Development:Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
  • Employee Relations:Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both employees and management on HR-related matters.
  • Performance Management:Implement and oversee performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, feedback, and professional development plans.
  • Compliance:Ensure the company’s HR policies and practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including labor laws and health and safety standards.
  • Benefits Administration:Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • HR Operations:Maintain employee records, manage HR budgets, and oversee payroll processing in coordination with the finance team.
  • Culture and Engagement:Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, foster a positive work environment, and promote a culture of collaboration and excellence.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ideally 5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the financial services or investment management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
