Hr Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an HR Manager to join a business that is regarded as the market leaders in producing branded promotional clothing and uniforms, using state of the art machinery and software.

The team is the secret to our customers' success and they are committed to constantly improving HR operations as they have grown and continue to grow.

The ideal candidate will manage the online HR platform, handle all aspects of employee lifecycle management, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and support recruitment and training initiatives.

What We Offer:

1. Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 depending on Experience
2. Part time: 3 days per week (salary pro-rata accordingly to hours)
3. Work Environment: Onsite
4. Location: Dunstable, Bedfordshire

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain our online HR management software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee information.
2. Oversee holiday, sickness, and leave requests, monitoring early/late departures.
3. Manage and track appraisals, ensuring completion by line managers and proper filing.
4. Conduct inductions for new staff, ensuring all compliance documentation is completed and new employee training and onboarding is successful.
5. Monitor employee absences and conduct return to work interviews.
6. Post job applications on relevant platforms, screen CVs, conduct initial interviews and manage recruitment process.
7. Ensure ongoing training programs are up-to-date and effectively implemented.
8. Liaise with external HR consultants for legal advice on emerging HR issues.
9. Support line managers in conducting appraisals and providing feedback.
10. Address employee grievances and manage relations to maintain a positive workplace.
11. Administer employee feedback surveys and work with senior management on implementing improvements based on feedback.

Experience and Skills:

1. Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
2. Proficiency in using HR software platforms.
3. Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
6. In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
7. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
8. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
