Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a HR & Global Mobility Advisor in the HR Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.

Summary:

The HR and Global Mobility Advisor will ensure the delivery of the day-to-day operational activities in relation to moving staff on assignment, working as part of the global mobility team to provide our employees with a high standard tailored Global Mobility service that is efficient, responsive, and cost-effective, while providing customers with a positive client experience. Supporting the Senior Global Mobility Advisor to ensure that business planning, needs, and objectives remain core to Mobility operations. The GM Advisor will work closely with global third-party providers to provide the assignee a seamless experience (including professional tax support services, household goods shipment, destination services, international medical insurance, and immigration services).

What you'll do:

  • Supporting the Senior Global Mobility Advisor as the single point of contact towards international assignees, international hires, and their family members.
  • End-to-end coordination of expatriate assignments and international hires, including administrating and monitoring all in- and outsourced services and activities, including immigration, destination services, tax and social security, children’s education, partner support, health insurance, and cultural training.
  • Developing knowledge of and expertise in global mobility and working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Processing the end-to-end relocation of international assignees and international hires, including the annual compensation review.
  • Optimising internal processes, programs, and policies and embedding a consistent workflow.
  • Advising and informing HR colleagues, line management, and employees regarding global mobility matters, processes, and policies.
  • Management of diary activity and meeting cadence and governance, including agendas, minutes, and content collation for the wider HR team.
  • Working with HR and internal comms teams to ensure relevant cascading of information and timely completion of all HR Cycle plan activities for HR.
  • Maintenance of all aspects relating to organisation charts and role changes.
  • Central co-ordination point for all HR staff Engagement activities.

What you'll bring:

  • Fluent Mandarin speaker with the ability to translate Mandarin documentation to a high standard.
  • Relevant work experience in, or at least demonstrated affinity with, Global Mobility or Human Resources Management.
  • An awareness of global mobility compliance, particularly focused on global immigration, tax, social security, mobility compensation, and risk management.
  • Ability to self-study legislative changes in immigration and employment law.
  • Interest or experience in working with different cultures.
  • Experience with working with external vendors and delivery of services.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.

Desirable:

  • GMPD Accredited.
  • CIPD level 5 qualified.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources.

Additional Information:

  • This role will be working from our Hethel plant within our flexible working policy.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship.
