About the role
The HR Effectiveness Lead will serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) within the People Team, working closely with the CPTO and the SLT to manage and support the strategic operations of the department. This role involves leading cross-functional initiatives, managing a portfolio of projects including overseeing our HRIS platforms, and supporting the CPTO in executing People Team goals and initiatives for the broader business.
As a HR Effectiveness Lead you will
HR Process Improvement
- Evaluate People process to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Bring together senior-level stakeholders to drive decisions, resolve conflicts, and influence outcomes.
- Own key cross departmental processes.
Systems
- Manage the day-to-day operation of SuccessFactors, serving as the conduit for change to be identified and triaged prior to feeding into the system delivery team.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on HRIS functionality.
- Supervise and mentor a team of reporting HRIS professionals, conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and development opportunities.
- Drive operational efficiency by continually improving HRIS processes and platforms.
Projects and Programmes
- Design and implement the People function’s operational cadence and project governance Steering Committees.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to advance the strategic direction of the people team, including managing projects, and ensuring successful delivery of key initiatives.
- Manage a portfolio of projects, ad-hoc analyses, and activities that align with department objectives and emerging issues.
Insight and Analytics
- Support the People function in becoming evidence-led by designing and implementing reporting metrics and dashboards that benefit the team.
- Develop and deploy operational dashboards that monitor business health and key KPIs linked to people team objectives.
- Support organizational excellence through independent analysis of operational effectiveness and developing new solutions.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices, with a focus on process optimisation and automation within an HRIS platform (Success Factors preferred).
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and IT teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex problems, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
- Experience in change management, including assessing impacts, developing communication plans, and driving adoption.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and experience implementing security controls within HR systems.
