The Role Objective: The HR Coordinator is responsible for delivering efficient administrative support that facilitates the smooth running of the HR Department. The HR Coordinator must first and foremost be the guardian of administrative procedure, contributing ideas for continuous improvement. There is also an opportunity to be involved in HR projects and initiatives. The overall objective is to continually raise the profile of HR positively within the Company.
Responsibilities:
- General day-to-day queries and first point of contact for all employee queries - management of the team shared inbox (prioritising tasks for payroll and HR).
- Responsible for checking eligibility to work in the UK for new joiners and maintaining Visa expiry date tracker.
- Issuing contracts of employment and new starter packs, ensuring all details are completed.
- Ensure satisfactory reference checks are completed for all colleagues in line with company policy.
- Responsible for all HR administration including employment contracts, offer letters, and leaver processing.
- Ensure all monthly payroll processes are adhered to, establishing an efficient and transparent process.
- Maintain accurate data in Workday for payroll amendments.
- Understand visa, immigration, and relocation processes.
- Action and compliance around Audit, Sox, and GDPR.
- Support L&D coordination of tasks (where applicable).
- Keep personnel files up to date and compliant.
- Responsible for accurate inputting and maintenance of data resources and managing the HRIS.
- Collate data for quarterly index reports and monthly Corporate Social Responsibility reporting.
- Manage maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, and adoption leave processes.
- Contribute to the generation of ideas and assist the wider HR team in HR projects.
