Department: People & Culture

Location: London

Compensation: £30,000 - £35,000 / year

Description

This role is ideal for a highly organised and proactive individual with experience in HR. You'll be supporting a wide range of HR activities, from onboarding and training coordination to compliance and reporting. You'll act as a key point of contact for staff and trainees, helping to ensure smooth processes and accurate records across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Starters & Leavers

  • Manage onboarding and leaver processes, including updated checklists and packs.
  • Ensure completion of probation meetings and exit interviews.

Trainees & work experience students

  • Issue agreements/contracts once approved
  • Act as first point of contact for training pathways
  • Maintain trackers and coordinate study leave with providers
  • Collate L&D diaries

Compliance

  • Administer Compliance portal and support with reporting for the Compliance Officer

Sickness

  • Ensure return to work interviews undertaken, self-certs/fit notes filed promptly

General

  • Manage contract changes and regular HR reports (e.g. sickness, leave)
  • Reconcile timesheets against leave monthly
  • Update intranet HR pages and maintain employee files
  • Coordinate staff meetings and manage benefits queries

Please note: The above duties are not exhaustive and may evolve with business needs.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Demonstrable experience working in HR
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
