Job Summary:
The role would be for the operational HR team - working on ER, Organisational Change, has experience doing job evaluations and for the senior managing teams.
Provide a high-quality professional HR&OD service, advising and leading on a range of HR&OD activity e.g. complex casework, transformational change, workforce planning, and resourcing solutions under the direction of the Snr Consultants.
Support the development of HR&OD policies, procedures and change programmes.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
To deliver a comprehensive high quality and professional HR&OD service to all customers, that meets strategic objectives and includes for example Employee Relations, Reward and Recognition, TUPE, organisational change and organisational development.
To lead on and support HR&OD projects or work programmes, e.g. recruitment campaigns, development or review of HR & OD policies, roll out of mandatory training programmes, providing a range of training/briefings according to service need etc. as directed by Senior HR Consultant/Strategic HRBP.
Assist in development, review and dissemination of HR&OD policies, procedures, guidelines and strategies.
Essential Experience Required:
Experience delivering a range of Operational HR services is essential.
Experience of HR best practice in a local government setting is essential.
Essential Qualification Required:
A good standard of general education is essential.
CIPD or equivalent, or significant experience within HR/ Learning & Organisational Design and Development profession is desirable.
Additional information to note:
Working hours: 36 hours per week.
The role is hybrid, and the candidate will be required to attend the offices on 2 days each week.
