Job description

This is an exceptional opportunity for an HR Co-Ordinator to gain experience and exposure of generalist HR working for a year on a hybrid basis in a busy experienced HR Shared Service department for a highly successful global business.


The following duties include:

  1. Getting involved in all key areas of the on-boarding process, HR operations, managing and processing key information on the IRIS system, working with different operational stakeholders UK wide.
  2. Being involved in organisation and communication at all levels with different stakeholders.
  3. Assisting with rewards and governance initiatives, working with the payroll department.
  4. Providing reports and data to key operational stakeholders across the business and the wider operational HR teams.
  5. Serving as point of contact for HR enquiries and requests from UK sites on HR related matters.
  6. Supporting delivery of project work to align with HR.
  7. Promoting ER Initiatives.
  8. Maintaining HRIS systems, keeping accurate and up-to-date colleague reports on people files, HRIS data, and org charts.
  9. Working with global HRIS teams to ensure system functionality and user support.
  10. Providing training and support to HR team and wider business on how to use HRIS effectively.
  11. Supporting development of training materials and onboarding co-ordination.
  12. Acting as point of contact for new hires, working closely with Hiring Managers to ensure all necessary pre-employment checks are carried out, sending offers, contracts of employment, and HR policies, etc.
  13. Conducting exit interviews.
  14. Assisting with administration for reward programs, including employee recognition, incentive and benefits support.
  15. Supporting the communication of rewards program ensuring understanding and agreement, collaborating with HR team and management to evaluate and improve.

Key skills required are:

  1. CIPD qualified (or working towards/ or HR degree).
  2. Experience of HRIS administration and onboarding co-ordination.
  3. Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite.
  4. Strong communicator and team player.
  5. Capable of delivering accurate work and following process and protocol whilst delivering actionable insights through data analysis and reporting.
  6. Good HR experience and knowledge of employment law.
