Are you an experienced HRBP professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make an impact? We're looking for an HR Business Partner to join our clients team on an 8-month fixed-term contract, supporting the Head of HR in delivering expert HR support across the team.
In this role, you'll work closely with senior leadership teams and key stakeholders, providing professional HR advice and guidance. You'll play a vital part in implementing HR policies, tackling HR-related challenges, and ensuring best practices across the business units.
You'll also collaborate with the Director of People and Transformation, contributing to strategic HR projects that shape the future of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Help to develop and drive delivery of the HR strategy, including performance & capability management, organisational effectiveness, organisational design and managing and implementing change.
- Work collaboratively with Senior Managers in the HR Team to ensure all elements of the HR strategy are well aligned, implemented and are consistently measured and evaluated.
- Work closely with client groups across the business to understand the business areas, strategy and needs in order to support the delivery of appropriate HR plans to deliver business goals and objectives.
- Operate as a trusted advisor and HR expert, to advise, guide and support colleagues to provide a high level of people management across the client groups.
- Actively support and guide the HR Advisor and business leaders through complex ER issues in line with company policy and the relevant legal framework.
- Proactively identify areas where HR can add value, lead and deliver responsively effective solutions in support of strategic goals and improving organisational performance.
- Embed diversity principles in all elements of HR advisory work and support the company's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion ambition and goals.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- A generalist HR background including change management, handling of complex & sensitive people issues.
- Excellent employment law knowledge and exposure to complex employee relation issues - including performance management, redundancies, TUPE transfers; strong understanding of legal implications and the ability to plan and deliver accordingly.
- Experience of providing a commercial, insight driven, proactive people service.
- Experience of working with unions.
- Strong influencing skills, with the gravitas to command professional respect at all levels.
- Confident, calm and credible with excellent communication and building relationship skills.
- Ability to independently solve problems and make recommendations to remedy issues.
- Be able to demonstrate, promote and articulate the highest levels of integrity and appreciation of the importance of company values, ethics and compliance.
